‘Living far beyond our exigencies, most of which don't really matter’: SRK shares lessons he learnt from lockdown
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: The coronavirus pandemic has wrecked a havoc across the country and the nation-wide lockdown imposed to contain the spread of the deadly pathogen has locked everyone inside their homes.
People have been doing different activities while spending their time at home with their families. Likewise, our Bollywood celebrities are also spending their time with their families and are finding new ways to pass their time as well as aware people about the severity of the contagion and how we should react in these testing times.
As the country approaches towards the fourth phase of the COVID-19-induced lockdown, Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is practicing quarantine with his wife and children in his lavish house ‘Maannat’, penned down some important lessons that he has learnt during the lockdown, with his fans on Saturday.
The 'Om Shanti Om' actor posted his lessons from the lockdown on his social media platforms along with his sunset-themed selfie. Khan's life lessons spoke about how humans have been living with way more facilities than the basic necessities.
"That we have been living far beyond our exigencies, most of which don't really matter as much as we thought they did. That we really don't need (emotionally) more people around us than the ones we feel like talking to while we are locked up," his post read.

"That we can stop the clock for a bit and reimagine our lives when the rush to acquire false securities is peeled away from us. That we can laugh with those we fought so hard... and know that our ideas weren't actually any bigger than theirs and above all, love is still worth it, no matter what anyone else tells you," his lessons further read.
The superstar has been contributing to the government to combat COVID-19 and has also been helping the needy ones ever since the lockdown was imposed in the country. He had contributed to PM Cares fund along with various other NGOs working for the people during coronavirus pandemic. The actor had also given his four-storey office to the BMC to make it as a quarantine centre.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai's romantic drama Zero, in which he shared screen space with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. His production house Red Chillies Entertainment backed Netflix's Bard Of Blood and Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's Badla last year.
