New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: The untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has left the entire country in a shock. Fans, politicians, cricketers and celebrities have expressed their grief and surprise over the death of the MS Dhoni: The Untold Story actor.
While fans are still mourning over the sudden death of the Kai Po Che actor, an old video has emerged, showing how much Sushant admired Shah Rukh Khan.
In the video, which has been doing around on social media, Sushant accepted that he was one of the biggest fans of Shah Rukh Khan and the King of Bollywood has inspired him to be an actor.
While promoting his film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, the 34-year-old actor revealed that he used to mimic Shah Rukh in his school days. In the video, Sushant imitated a line from the film Chak De India ‘Is ilaake ka gunda main hoon’ with a little modification as he opened his arms and went down on his knees in true Shah Rukh Khan style. Shah Rukh Khan was highly impressed with Sushant by that and gave him a warm hug.

As we all know, Sushant was a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan as he had often mentioned in his interviews, “How Shah Rukh Khan inspired him to become an actor”, he had always expressed his love for Shah Rukh Khan, and now that he's no more, I've seen people misleading others with an edited clip from IIFA Awards, and as people are intelligent enough to notice that, the Award shows are scripted. But, it really feels bad, seeing the way people are slamming Shah Rukh Khan, the man whom Sushant had always idolised, so sharing some positivity about the beautiful bond between Shah Rukh Khan and Sushant. ❤️ - - #rip #sushantsinghrajput #bollywood #srk #shahrukhkhan
Like others, Shah Rukh Khan too was surprised at the demise of the Chhichhore actor and took to Twitter to mourn him. He posted a picture and wrote, “He loved me so much...I will miss him so much. His energy, enthusiasm, and his full happy smile. May Allah bless his soul and my condolences to his near and dear ones. This is extremely sad....and so shocking!!”
While fans of Sushant Singh Rajput are saddened beyond words over his unfortunate demise, few people are not taking his suicide as just a suicide. They are calling it mental torture that led him to depression and then suicide. The fans are constantly demanding to take action upon the sad incident.
Sushant Singh Rajput passed away at the age of 34 on June 14. The actor was under depression and was taking anti-depressant pills from the last six months.
