New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: Irrfan Khan, who won over millions of fans with his roles in numerous international and Indian films, is no more. The 54-year-old passed away at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital on Wednesday while battling rare cancer.
The sad news was shared by filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, who in a tweet post, wrote, "My dear friend Irfaan. You fought and fought and fought. I will always be proud of you.. we shall meet again.. condolences to Sutapa and Babil.. you too fought, Sutapa you gave everything possible in this fight. Peace and Om shanti. Irfaan Khan salute."

Irrfan Khan is regarded as a fine actor by fans and critics alike with critically acclaimed films like 'The Lunchbox' and 'Paan Singh Tomar' to his credit.
