New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Actress Zareen Khan who is gearing up for her upcoming Punjabi film Daaka recently opened up on a casting couch experience that she faced in her career. The Hate Story 2 actor in an interview recently revealed that she experienced casting couch during her initial days in Bollywood.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, the actress recalled a horrific experience and confessed that a director once asked her to rehearse a kissing scene with him. The person is like, 'You have to let go of your inhibitions, you have to let go of inhibitions,' and that time I was relatively very new," she recalls. After that, he offered her to rehearse a kissing scene to which she replied, "What? I am not doing any kissing scene as a rehearsal."

Previously, Mission Mangal actor Vidya Balan had recalled an incident where the director tried to act smart with her. “One day I remember I was in Chennai and this director came to meet me. I said let’s sit in the coffee shop and he kept insisting that he wants to talk to me and that we should go to the room. I left the door of my room open and he left within five minutes. This incident suddenly struck me today when I’m talking about this, ” she said.

Several actresses such as Tanushree Dutta, Ahana Kumra, Mandana Karimi and Kangana Ranaut and others had earlier shared their stories via #MeToo movement that started last year.

Zareen Khan had made her debut opposite Salman Khan with Veer in 2010. Since then, she has featured in popular movies such as Housefull 2, Hate Story 3 and Aksar 2.
