New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: The untimely demise of 'one of the most' versatile actors in Bollywood industry, Irrfan Khan, left everyone in a state of shock and grief. Yesterday the actor was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, after he developed a colon infection.

Irrfan Khan was like a definition of the craftsmanship of acting, with every ounce of emotion and content. Irrfan was among the favourites of critically acclaimed directors.

Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018, post which he took a break from Bollywood for over a year. Khan again joined the industry in 2019 after learning that he is well and started working for the movie Angrezi Medium that was a sequel of one of his previous projects.

Irrfan studied drama from the National School of Drama, and as they teach in the theatre to feel every drop of it - the actor was an utterly expressive gentleman. The actor was quite active on social media. In his last post on Instagram Irrfan wrote,"

God speaks to each of us as he makes us,

then walks with us silently out of the night.

These are the words we dimly hear:

You sent out beyond your recall,

go to the limits of your longing.

Embody me.

Flare-up like a flame

and make big shadows I can move in.

Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror.

Just keep going. No feeling is final.

Don’t let yourself lose me.

Nearby is the country they call life.

You will know it by its seriousness.

Give me your hand #rainermariarilke."

It is not just Bollywood that echos with the dialogues of Irrfan Khan, the actor had contributed his effervescence in the west too, Life of Pie, The Amazing Spiderman, Jurassic Park and Slumdog Millionaire are few of his excellent Hollywood films, that have fetched appreciations from all around the world.
