Sushant took the extreme step of suicide on June 14 at his Bandra-situated house in Mumbai. The 34-year-old actor’s suicide has stormed the fans nationwide in a never seen before phenomena to demand answers from the lobbied dynamics of Entertainment industry, which supposedly sidelined Sushant with a systematic boycott from various production houses. The police is also probing the angle of professional rivalry and have acquired the duplicates of the contract signed by Sushant from Yash Raj Movies, news agency ANI reported.
Sushant will be last seen in the yet-to-be-released movie ‘Dil Bechara’, a remake of John Green’s blockbuster novel ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ which will be released on Disney-Hotstar, skipping the theatrical release due to coronavirus pandemic. His last theatrical release was Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Chhichhore’ in 2019.
