New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: In a recent online battle between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Pooja Bhatt has reignited the issue of nepotism once again.

Actor and producer Pooja Bhatt who stood up for her family against the hatred claimed in a series of tweets that though Anurag Basu discovered Kangana Ranaut, it was Vishesh Films who launched Kangana in her debut film Gangster which ‘was no small feat’.

Kangana’s team strongly replied saying that she had also auditioned for Pokiri which was a blockbuster hit and Pooja’s perception is totally wrong about the break she got from Gangster. She added that ‘water one day finds its level’.

She wrote, “For your info @PoojaB1972 Kangana had also auditioned for Pokiri, alongside Gangster & got selected for that as well. Pokiri went on to become an all-time blockbuster, so your thinking that because of Gangster she is who she is totally not working. Water finds its level.”

In its response to Pooja Bhatt’s statement, Kangana’s team revealed that it was Anurag Basu who had sharp eyes to spot Kangana’s talent. And the team also revealed that Mahesh Bhatt threw ‘chappals at her’ and was even humiliated her.

She tweeted, “Dear @PoojaB1972, #AnuragBasu had keen eyes to spot Kangana’s talent, everyone knows Mukesh Bhatt does not like to pay artists, to get talented people for free is a favour many studios do on themselves but that doesn’t give your father a license to throw chappals at her and call her mad and humiliate her. He also announced her "tragic end", Also why was he so invested in Sushant Singh Rajput's and Rhea’s relationship? Why did he announce his end too, some of the questions you must ask him folded hands @PoojaB1972”

Earlier Pooja Bhatt wrote on Twitter that she had been asked to comment on the nepotism on which ‘people are raging about’. She revealed that her family has launched many new talents- actors, musicians, and technicians.

She added in the tweet, “Even #Sadak2 gives birth to a brand new talent in the form of Sunlijeet’,” who was a music teacher from Chandigarh. She further added, “Facts don’t find takers. Fiction does.”

The battle started when Pooja Bhatt cited Kangana Ranaut’s launch saying, “As for Kangana Ranaut-She is a great talent, if not she wouldn’t have been launched by Vishesh films in “Gangster”.Yes, Anurag Basu discovered her, but Vishesh Films backed his vision & invested in the film. No small feat. Here’s wishing her the very best in all her endeavours.”

However, Pooja Bhatt put an end to the online conflict by attaching a Filmfare awards clip where Kangana hugged Mahesh Bhatt on receiving the award. Pooja added, “It takes two to battle. I leave the denials & accusations to more evolved souls. I rather put forth facts!”
