New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: The title-song of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘Dil Bechara’ got released on Friday, in which, Manny (Sushant), the centerpiece superstar of the college dispenses off the warmth of ruing friend zone right from his helpless heart in an incredible executed single-shot song.

Sung by a terrific AR Rahman, the song highlights Manny enjoyably coming to the terms of friend zone in an indoor auditorium performance, that has its elements of candidness and reflexive college performance switches with respect to the moving spotlight, all in a single shot.

“Farah Khan choreographed it and she rehearsed the song with Sushant for a day and then shot the whole song in one shot. That’s it. Just one shot. The song picturisation is deceptively simple and Sushant who was a very good dancer, made it look effortless,” ‘Dil Bechara’ director Mukesh Chhabra was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times, while adding that this was the ‘last song that Sushant ever shot for’.

Sushant had reportedly wrapped up shooting for the song in just half a day, for which the celebrated choreographer Farah Khan rewarded him with home-cooked food.

Farah was quoted as saying: “This song is particularly close to me because it was the first time I was choreographing Sushant. We were friends for a long time but never worked together,” while adding that she sees the song and all she can see is how alive, how happy he (Sushant) looks in it. “And this song is always going to be very special for me,” Farah says.

‘Dil Bechara’ will mark the final on-screen appearance of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide on June 14th. The film stars the debutant actress Sanjana Sanghi opposite SSR, and is scheduled to release on Disney-Hotstar on 24th July.
