COVID-19 positive Aishwarya Rai, daughter Aaradhya Bachchan admitted to Nanavati Hospital
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have been admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital after experiencing mild fever, reported news agency ANI.
"Both Aishwarya and Aaradhya were admitted to Nananvati hospital today. They are fine," hospital source told PTI. “Aishwarya needed medical attention,” another insider said.
The 46-year-old actress and her daughter had tested positive for coronavirus few days ago with mild symptoms and were placed in isolation at the Bachchan residence Jalsa, which has been sealed by the Brihanmumbai Corporation along with three other bungalows belonging to Bachchans.
On July 11, Aishwarya's father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and husband Abhishek were admitted to Nanavati Hospital after testing positive for coronavirus. The same day, Aishwarya and Aaradhya initally tested negative in antigent test but later tested positive in swab test report. Amitabh's wife Jaya Bachchan had tested positive for coronavirus.
Abhishek had also tweeted that Aishwarya and Aaradhya's positive Covid-19 test results. "Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful. The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers," he wrote.
Since his diagnosis, Amitabh has been regularly updating his admires about his health on social media.
“In happy times, in times of illness, you our near and dear, our well wishers, our fans have ever given us unstinting love , affection care and prayer .. we express our bountiful gracious gratitude to you all .. in these circumstances hospital protocol, restrictive,” the screen icon tweeted on Friday evening.
On Thursday, Amitabh, who is currently admitted to the isolation ward of Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital for COVID-19 treatment, tweeted about the six types of "trendsetters" whom we need to save ourselves from.
"They that express jealousy, they who ever dislike all others, who remain dissatisfied, angered, ever doubting .. those who live off others .. these 6 kinds of individuals shall remain filled with sadness .. whenever possible save ourselves from such trend setters," Bachchan tweeted.
