Coronavirus Pandemic | From Salman Khan to Kartik Aaryan, B-Town celebs spread positive message on Janta Curfew, urges people to stay at home
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: As nationwide 'Janta Curfew' began in the country at 7 am, several Bollywood stars on Sunday took to social media urging people to stay at home and follow the precautionary measures shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Urging people to take the government's advisory of self-isolation amid rising cases of COVID-19 in India, superstar Salman Khan shared a special message asking fans to stay at home. "Ye public holiday nahi hai bhai, ye bada serious mamla hai.. ye sab band karo, please wear masks, wash your hands and stay clean," he said.
"What is the problem in doing all these things if it saves hundred of lives? Pease follow this... it is a matter of lives," the 54-year-old added on Twitter.
Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who was last seen in Baaghi 3, wrote, "Good Morning India !! Stay Home, Stay healthy, Stay safe. #JuntaCurfew #IndiaFightCorona."
Veteran Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt shared a pciture of a human standing alone in a deserted land and wrote, " Only echoes answer me."

Similarly, Pati Pati Aur Woh actor Kartik Aaryan said, "Lets support #JanataCurfew Today!!"
Singer Armaan Malik also urged people to stay safe at home. "Stay home and stay safe. Please it's a sincere request #IndiaFightsCorona," the tweet read.
PM Modi has urged the citizens to be a part of Janta Curfew today, saying that the move will help in containing the chain of coronavirus spread in the country. So far, there have been 324 positive cases of coronavirus reported in the country, according to The Union Health Ministry.
