New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Famous Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja’s sudden death has left everyone in shock. The 39-year-old actor, who was admitted to a hospital on Sunday after he complained of chest pain, was a fan favourite and his death has left the entire film industry in shock and social media is filled with condolences, notes of love and fondest memories of the star. 

The Sandalwood actor’s last rites were performed on Monday. During Chiranjeevi’s funeral, his wife and actress Meghana Raj was seen beside the late actor and she broke down as she hugged him for the last time.

A glimpse of the funeral of the late actor in a video is going around in which we can see late actor’s wife Meghana Raj sobbing uncontrollably as she hugs and kisses her husband's body for the last time.

In the video, a huge number of fans can be seen gathered outside his residence followed by police officers. Everyone in the video can be seen wearing masks. It seems his body was wrapped in the tri-colour. Actress Meghana seemed uncontrollably sobbing. His elder brother Dhruva Sarja was seen consoling Meghana Raj all through the funeral. The video has brought tears to fans.

Chiranjeevi Sarja had tied the knot with actress Meghana Raj in 2018 in a church and later they solemnised their union as per Hindu rituals. Adding to the agony of Chiranjeevi’s death, comes the news that Meghana is pregnant and the couple was eagerly awaiting their first child.

Several Indian celebrities like Puneeth Rajkumar, Upendra, Kiccha Sudeep, KGF star Yash, Darshan, Prajwal Devaraj, Shivaraj Kumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Rockline Venkatesh and many others were spotted to pay their last tribute to the actor.

Chiranjeevi Sarja's brother Dhruva Sarja, uncle Arjuna Sarja were also spotted at the farmhouse. DK Shivakumar, the KPCC President, also visited the late actor's residence in Bengaluru to offer his condolences to the family.
