New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Shraddha Kapoor's latest outing opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, which opened to good reviews, has crossed Rs 50 crore in first five days at the box office. The film raked in Rs 10.05 crore on day 5 to reach a total of Rs 54.13 crore.

Bollywood Trade Analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh shared the collection details on Twitter.

'Chhichhore,' which got an advantage of a holiday on Tuesday, earned around Rs. 7.32 crore on day one, 12.25 crore on day two, whereas 16.41 and 8.10 crore on day three and four, respectively. Earlier on Monday, at Rs 35.98, Chhichhore became Sushant's second-highest engrossing movie after MS Dhoni: The Untold Story in opening weekend collections.

Apart from Sushant and Shraddha, the campus drama also stars Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Saharsh Kumar Shukla and Tushar Pandey in pivotal roles.
'Chhichhore' is full of nostalgia and plays on the themes of friendship and college life.

The film revolves around Sushant (Anni) and his college friends. It showcases how their lives undergo major changes after they all graduate. One part of the film depicts the friends in their college and how they strive to win a competition and the second part features them all grown up.

The gang, which gets separated after college, reunites seven years later in a hospital when one of their friends meets with an accident.

The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It hit the theatres on September 6.
