New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Online streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are acting as a substitute to theaters amid this coronavirus-induced lockdown due to which cinema halls across the country were closed. Many films have been released on the platforms in past few months.

Adding to the list, the makers of ‘Bulbbul’ on Friday shared the first trailer of the supernatural drama ahead of its release on Netfilx on June 24. The horror drama is made under the production of Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnash Sharma’s Clean Slate Films. This will be second production of Anushka’s production house after Pataal Lok, released last month on Amazon Prime Videos.

Set in Bengal during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Bulbbul is as intriguing as it gets. The trailer begins with a child telling a story of a witch who lives in the trees and has twisted feet. The trailer then takes us into the world of a child bride, who grows up to be a strange woman, who have a past with ties to unexplained murders of men. The background music of the film is seizing and the visual with a pink hue is a treat to watch.
