Television personality Shekhar Suman, who’s been quite vocal on social media since the demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, said that he is going to the late actor’s hometown Patna to pay his respects and to meet the CM Shri Nitish Kumar to press upon CBI inquiry into his death. Shekhar suspects foul play in the late actor's suicide.

Shekhar Suman took to Twitter on Sunday to announce that he is going to Patna to pay his tribute to Rajput and to urge the Bihar CM to press for the CBI inquiry into his death.

"I'm going to my hometown Patna to meet Sushant's father and pay my respect to him and the CM Shri Nitish Kumar and all the admirers and fans of Sushant to press upon #CBIEnquiryForSushant #justiceforSushantforum @NitishKumar," he wrote.

"More to the story than meets the eyes"

Shekhar has been claiming that there is more to the late actor’s death and demanding a CBI inquiry. Last week, he started a forum to demand a CBI investigation into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

He claimed that Sushant was strong-willed and intelligent, he would have left a suicide note. "My heart tells me, like many others, there is more than meets the eye," the actor added.

Sushant Singh Rajput started his big-screen journey from the 2013 film 'Kai Po Che' and made his place in the hearts of the whole nation with his pure acting skills. The actor had taken his own life on June 14.

The 34-year-old was reportedly suffering from depression and was taking anti-depressant pills for the last six months. While the Mumbai police has termed the incident a suicide, an investigation is underway to check if there was any professional rivalry.
