New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: While fans of the most-watched show Bigg Boss had lost their hope for the show’s premiere on television due to the coronavirus outbreak, some good news is finally out regarding the reality TV show now.

Recently, a source close to the show revealed to Peeping Moon, an online digital portal, that the show was to be announced in June with Salman Khan, who has been the host of Big Boss since 2010, but due to the lockdown, it was postponed.

However, the makers have now decided to shoot the premiere of the show from Salman Khan’s farmhouse. The creative team is working on a format that will soon be shared with the actor. The idea was taken from Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming KBC’s premiere which was also shot at his home, he said.

"The show was to be announced in June with Salman Khan returning as the host for the 14th season. The plan had to be postponed due to the lockdown. Now, just as Amitabh Bachchan shot a video for KBC’s upcoming season from home, Salman might shoot the BB14 announcement from his Panvel farmhouse. The creative team is working on a format to share with him.” he said as quoted by Peeping Moon.

According to the report, the premiere of Bigg Boss 14 will likely happen in the first month of October this year. The report also stated that Salman Khan has asked the makers to add 'social distancing' as a key feature for this season.

Talking about the participants, it is not confirmed yet. However, speculations of several artists are made. TV serial Tujhse Hai Raabta actor Shagun Pandey recently revealed that she wants to participate in Bigg Boss. Other artists like Zaan Khan of Hamari Bahu Silk and Shubhangi Atre of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain have also been reportedly approached for the show.
