'Baby! You….': When Deepika Padukone exposed Ranveer Singh's poor badminton skills during live chat with Sunil Chhetri
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Sunil Chhetri has turned into a regressive interviewer amid the coronavirus lockdown as in the past few weeks the Indian footballer has amazed many with his smart questions and pro research skills.
Recently, Chhetri interviewed actor Ranveer Singh and asked him about his badminton court experience with his wife actress Deepika Padukone.
"Suppose you play badminton with Deepika and you lose badly. And at the Deepika says, that the three-pointers on your side are also out of respect as you are Prakash Padukone's son-in-Law. What will be your reaction?," Sunil Chhetri asked Ranveer.
This questioned baffled Ranveer as he was gatecrashed by Deepika. With Deepika revealing the secret of the badminton court, Ranveer shouted, "baby, you are exposing me!"
After knowing that all his cards are public, Ranveer revealed that Deepika is extremely ruthless on the badminton court. "The maximum that I've scored till now is a '5' in the match of '20' points. She never considers sparing me with a few pointers even after knowing that I have lost my mind, I wack the badminton out frustration but she is never ready to give up. Absolutely ruthless she is," he said.
Ranveer further told Sunil that though he has been knocked in court all these years, he is still optimistic to score a '10' someday in a '20' pointer match.
Actress Deepika Padukone had started her career initially in badminton as she hails from a sports family. Her father Prakash Padukone is a famous badminton player.

However, badminton wasn't the end to Ranveer's embarrassment as Chhetri enquired about the promise that the Padmavat actor made to Deepika before they got married. "Before your marriage, you promised Deepika that you'll cook her a meal someday, what about that promise," Sunil said.
This took the conversation to another incidence as Ranveer spoke about one of his past interactions with his in-laws where he told them that he cooks the best 'butter chicken' in the world and was famous in his university. The 34-year-old actor said, "I flaunted about my cookery skills without even realizing that making butter chicken from the ready-to-eat packet was not even counted as cooking!"
On the work front, Ranveer will be next seen in 83 -- a movie made on the life of former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev. Deepika Padukone will be accompanying her husband for a short role in the film.
