New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Most of the Indian producers are looking up to the OTTs for their pending release as the coronavirus pandemic has put the world at a halt. After Gulabo Sitabo and Shakuntla Devi, Kaira Advani's 'Indoo Ki Jawani' will likely get an OTT release. However, no official confirmation has been made on this yet.

According to a report by India.com, the filmmakers are in conversation with a few online streaming platforms and will decide the medium of release soon.

The movie is based on a girl Indoo who lives on the outskirts of Delhi and goes about her encounters with the 'swipe left-swipe right' culture of contemporary dating. Apart from Kaira Advani, who is playing the role of this jubilant girl, the film would be featuring actor Aditya Seal.

This movie will be a debut script in the Bollywood for the famous Bengali writer-director Abir Sengupta. The movie has been co-produced by Niranjan Iyengar, Emmay Entertainment, Nikkhil Advani, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Ryan Stephen.

According to the India.com report, the filming and even the post-production work of the movie were done way before. And now the filmmakers were only looking the right time when things would re-run again but the current scenario of the coronavirus pandemic in the country leaves no other option than the digital premiere. As per the report, the movie was scheduled to release in the first week of June this year.

On the work front, Kaira Advani was last seen in Guilty, a Netflix project. In the movie, Kaira played the role of Nanki Dutta a VJ who is in a very complicated relationship with a guy. Kaira's look in guilty was highly adored over the internet, though how she will be seen in 'Indoo Ki Jawani' is still a mystery.
