New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: After setting the standard up and high in season one, with charismatic acting of R Madhavan and Amit Sadh in lead roles, Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Breathe’ is set to release its second season on 10th July, making way for Abhishek Bachchan’s OTT debut.

‘Breathe: Into the Shadows’ stars Abhishek Bachchan and Amit Sadh in lead roles. Sadh’s character, instead of R Madhavan, will this time reprise behind junior Bachchan’s character arc expected to revolve around the ‘Breathe’ element of the show as conceptualised by the makers.

Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter early on Friday and enticed the fans that “Announcement coming up... stay tuned!!,” evoking a curious eye reply from Amazon Prime Video on Twitter.

A couple of hours later, Amazon Prime announced the release date of ‘Breath: Into the shadows’, captioning the poster with as: “She lies in the shadows waiting to be found. Here’s the first look of #BreatheIntoTheShadow…”

“While each character in the show has its own story to tell, viewers will discover just how intriguingly these storylines eventually get interwoven. With this new chapter, I am excited to take Prime members on a new roller-coaster journey of emotions and thrills that will leave you gasping for breath,” Mayank Sharma, who returned as the director of the series, was quoted as saying by NDTV.

The Producers of ‘Breathe: Into The Shadow’, Abudantia Entertainment said in a statement that they are confident that the show will resonate strongly with fans all over the world.

“I'm delighted to get Abhishek in the mix with Amit, Nithya, and Saiyami, and with Mayank delivering a gripping narrative and a fresh and elevated storyline, we are confident that the show will resonate strongly with fans all over the world,” Vikram Malhotra, CEO and Founder of Abudantia Entertainment was quoted as saying.

Alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Amit Sadh, ‘Breathe: Into the Shadow’ also stars Ivana Kaur, Resham Shrivardhan, Hrishikesh Joshi (Kaminey), and Shrikant Verma. The series will be premiered on Amazon Prime Video on July 10th.
