New Delhi | Jagra News Desk: The Supreme Court today reserved its order floor test in Maharashtra till tomorrow. After Solicitor General Tushar Mehta -- appearing for the centre -- told the top court that Ajit Pawar's letter to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari contained signatures of 54 MLAs.
This comes a day after it issued notice to Centre, Maharashtra government, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar on Congress-NCP-Shiv Sena's plea and asked Solicitor General Tushar Mehta to produce relevant documents from Governor’s letter for inviting BJP to form government and letter of support of MLAs by 10.30 am today. In a special hearing on Sunday, the apex court had further said that appropriate orders on the plea od Shiv Sena-Congress-NCP will be passed today.
Meanwhile, NCP chief Sharad Pawar has dismissed Ajit Pawar's claim of alliance between the BJP and the NCP saying that Ajit's statement is false and misleading in order to create confusion and false perception among the people and the party has unanimously decided to ally with Shiv Sena and Congress to form government.
