Chatra Assembly Area

Chatra seat is also included in the 90 assembly seats of Jharkhand. Last Assembly Election held in 2014 where total vote percentage was 53.62%. The total number of voters were 339245, out of which male voters were 179602 and female voters were 159642. Incumbent MLA JAY PRAKASH SINGH BHOGTA contested from BJP party and got 69745 votes from total votes polled and won the election.
