Nalwa seat is also included in the 90 assembly seats of Haryana. Last Assembly Election held in 2014 where total vote percentage was 77.2%. The total number of voters were 152300, out of which male voters were 81368 and female voters were 70932. Incumbent MLA RANBIR GANGWA contested from INLD party and got 41950 votes from total votes polled and won the election. The upcoming Assembly elections in Haryana will see a high-voltage triangular contest between the three major parties -- the Congress, the Bhartiya Janta Party and the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) - Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) alliance. The state goes to polls on October 21, along with Maharashtra and the counting of votes will be done on October 24.
