Adampur seat is also included in the 90 assembly seats of Haryana. Last Assembly Election held in 2014 where total vote percentage was 78.28%. The total number of voters were 154074, out of which male voters were 82711 and female voters were 71363. Incumbent MLA KULDEEP BISHNOI contested from HJCBL party and got 56757 votes from total votes polled and won the election. The upcoming Assembly elections in Haryana will see a high-voltage triangular contest between the three major parties -- the Congress, the Bhartiya Janta Party and the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) - Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) alliance. The state goes to polls on October 21, along with Maharashtra and the counting of votes will be done on October 24.
