New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: Months after conducting the exams, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad of the UPMSP on Saturday (June 27) declared the results for board examination of class 10th and class 12th. The results were released by UP deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma who said that the results are better than previous years this time.

The students can check their class 10th and class 12th board exams scorecard at the official website of UPMSP at or and also at Jagran Josh.

This year, the overall passing percentage for class 12th has been recorded at 74.63 per cent. Anurag Malik has topped the class 12th board exams with 97 per cent marks. Anurag is followed by Pranjal Singh (96%) and Utkarsh Shukla (94.80%) who have secured the second and third place respectively.

1. Anurag Malik: Shriram SN Inter College Barot, Baghpat: 97

2. Pranjal Singh: SP Inter College Sikaro Koraon Prayagraj: 96

3. Utkarsh Shukla: Shri Gopal Inter College Auraiya: 94.80

4. Vaibhav Dwivedi: Brilliant Academy Inter College Unnao: 94.40

5. Akanksha: Shri Vishwanath Inter College Sultanpur: 94

6. Garima Kaushik: Shriram SN Inter College Barout, Baghpat: 93.80

7. Pooja Maurya: Dharma Devi Badri Prasad Inter College Sultanpur: 93.60

8. Ankush Rathore: Pt Deendayal Upadhyay SVM Inter College: 93

9. Manu Mishra: Jai Maa Isgm Inter College Radhanagar Fatehpur: 93

The students waiting for the results can also receive their scorecard on mobile phones via SMS. Class 10th students can receive their results by sending ‘UP10ROLLNUMBER’ to 56263, while the class 12th students have to send ‘UP12ROLLNUMBER’ on the same number.

A total of over 56 lakh students appeared for the High School and Intermediate examinations in the year 2020, making it one of the biggest exam affairs in the world. 25,86,440 students appeared for the class 12th exams, while a total of 30,24,632 students appeared for the class 10th exams. 

The exams were conducted in the month of March and the results are scheduled to be declared in April this year. However, the evaluation process got halted because of the coronavirus outbreak in the country and the lockdown imposed to curb the spread of the dreadful infection.

Lets have a look at key statistical data of UP Class 12th Results 2019:

A total of 29,82,996 students registered for the class 12th board exams in Uttar Pradesh in 2019. of the total registered students, 26,04,093 students appeared for the UP Board Intermediate exams 2019. Of the 26,04,093 students who appeared for the exams, 18,86,050 students cleared the UP Board class 12th exams in the year 2019.

The overall pass percentage stood at 72.43 per cent. Of the total, 78.44 per cent of female students cleared the exams, while 67.36 per cent male students passed the class 12th UP Board exams in 2019.

Last year, Tanu Tomar hailing from Baghpat district topped the UP Board intermediate examinations 2019 with 97.83 per cent marks. Bhagyashree Upadhyay got the second rank with 97.2 per cent while Akanksha Shukla came in third with 94.80 per cent. Tomar scored 489 out of 500 marks.
