New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The answer key for the post of Assistant Teachers has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board. Candidates who had appeared in the examination can download the answer key by visiting the official website-- atrexam.upsdc.gov.in. The answer key has been released for four series.

As per an official notification, the answer key will be made available till May 17. Here are some simple steps to download the answer key for UP Assistant teacher 2020.

Step 1: Visit the official website-- atrexam.upsdc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on UP Assistant Teacher Answer Key 2020 available on the homepage.

Step 3: A new .pdf file will get opened.

Step 4: Check the answer key and save the file.

Step 5: Keep a print out if needed.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the board to declare the result in a week after Allahabad High court ordered the appointment process to be completed within the next three months.

The written exam was conducted on January 6. Over 4.45 lakh candidates have applied for the post. For further details, visit the official website of UPBEB. 

Earlier on Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed the decision of Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court of confirming the State Government's decision of keeping higher cut-off marks for recruitment of 69,000 teachers in the primary schools of the state.

"CM Yogi Adityanath has welcomed High Court's decision in the matter of recruiting 69,000 teachers of basic education. He congratulated all the successful candidates by wishing them to contribute to the education system of the state in the coming time," he tweeted.

The state Basic Education Minister Satish Dwivedi has stated that the State Government will try to complete the recruitment process soon.

"Uttar Pradesh Government had kept higher cut-off marks for recruitment of 69000 teachers, the government's decision was challenged in the high court which has upheld the decision. We will try to complete the recruitment process at the earliest," he told ANI.
