New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Assistant Prelims 2020 exam will be conducted on February 14 and February 15. Lacks of students will appear for the exam that will be conducted by the RBI for Assistant Recruitment 2019-2020.

Selection for the post will be through a country-wide examination that will be held in two phases -- Preliminary and Mains -- and that will followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The LPT will be conducted in the Official/ Local language of the state concerned.

The exams will be conducted online and candidates will be asked Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Reasoning and numerical ability questions. Questions from logical and verbal reasoning along with Mathematics up to Class 10 and general English would be asked from the candidates.

For the preliminary exams, there will be five different sections -- Reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, Computer knowledge and general awareness.

There will be 30 questions of 30 marks each for the English language section. Similarly, there will be 35 questions of 35 marks each for numerical ability and reasoning ability.

The candidates must note that there would be negative marking in the Preliminary and Mains examination and 1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. However, no marks will deducted if the question is left unanswered.

The candidates must note that they would need to take a valid photo identity proof along with their admit card. After the prelims, the candidates would need to give the mains exam and that would be conducted in March 2020. 

The Reserve Bank of India had earlier released the RBI Assistant recruitment notification for a total of 926 vacancies of RBI Assistant posts.
