New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Punjab School of Education Board, also known as the "PSEB", declared the class 12th board examination result on Tuesday (July 21) at 11 am. The candidates will now be able to check their class 12th board examination results at the official website of the Punjab Board at pseb.ac.in.

The Punjab Board was supposed to hold the class 12th board exams from March 3 to April 3 but were postponed after the Centre imposed a nationwide lockdown to control the spread of the highly contagious coronavirus in the country. The board later in July cancelled the exams.

According to the board officials, the overall pass percentage recorded in 2020 is 90.98 per cent.

Here’s the candidates will be able to check their class 12th PSEB result 2020:

Step 1) The candidates would need to visit the official website of the Punjab Board at pseb.ac.in

 

Step 2) The candidates would now need to find and click on the link that reads Punjab Board 12th Result 2020 (Senior Secondary – 10+2). The candidates would be redirected to a new page after this

Step 3) The candidates are now requested to enter their roll numbers and other details that will be asked on the website

Step 4) Your results will appear of the display of your screen. Check your results and verify them

 

Step 5) Download your result in the PDF format and take printout for future reference

The candidates will also be able to check their results on JagranJosh.com

PSEB 12th Result 2020:

This year the Punjab Board has changed the passing marks system for the candidates this year. According to the new rules, the candidates would now need to score at least 20 per cent marks in practical and theory section and 33 per cent combined in each subject to pass the class 12th board exams.

PSEB 12th Result 2019:

Last year, the board had said that more than 2.69 lakh candidates had appeared for the class 12th board exams. As per the officials, more than 2.32 lakh were able to pass the exams and the overall passing percentage was recorded at 86.41 per cent. The girls had outshined the boys with a passing percentage of 90.86 per cent. The boys, on the other hand, had a passing percentage of 82.83 per cent.
