NEET UG 2020: NTA extends last date for application forms correction and exam city change, check details here
New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: After extending it earlier, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has yet again extended the last date to make the corrections in the particulars students and also to make changes in the exam centre cities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET-UG) online application forms.
According to the official notification by the National Testing Agency, NEET applicants can modify candidate particulars and change their choice of centre cities by 5 pm on May 31. The testing agency has also said that fee submission facility will also be available till 11.50 pm on May 31.
The NEET applicants can visit the official website of NTA NEET — ntaneet.nic.in — to make corrections in their particulars and change exam centre cities if they want.
The official notification released by NTA in this regard reads "It is again brought to the notice of all the candidates of NEET (UG) 2020 that the facility for correction in the particulars including choice of Centre Cities in the Online Application Form is operational now on the website ntaneet.nic.in and the same will be available upto 31/05/2020. The candidates are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars and make necessary corrections, if required."
"NTA will make efforts to allot the city of examination to the candidates in order of choices now opted by them in their Application Form, subject to the availability of capacity in the desired city. However, due to administrative reasons, a different city may be allotted and the decision of the NTA regarding allotment of the centre will be final," the notification further stated.
The NEET had earlier announced the revised date for NEET UG exam. The medical entrance exam will now be conducted on July 26, 2020. Earlier the test was scheduled to be conducted on May 3. However, NTA is yet to announce the date when NEET UG admit cards will be released.
Candidates can pay the requisite (additional) fee (if applicable), through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI and PAYTM. It is to be noted that in case, additional fee payment is required depending on the changes made in the form, the final updates will be reflected after the payment.
