New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, also known as the "KPB", on Tuesday finished the wait for more than 4.34 lakh students across the state as it declared the much-awaited Kerala SSLC class 10th result. The Kerala SSLC class 10th result was declared by state Education Minister Pareeksha Bhavan via press conference. 

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has said that the students will be able to check their Kerala SSLC class 10th result at official website of the Kerala Board at The students can also check their Kerala SSLC class 10th result at, and and at the 'Saphalam' mobile App, the Kerala Board added.

The Kerala Board was supposed to declare the result at 11 am on Tuesday. However, it announced that the result will be declared at 2 pm.     

Here’s how candidates will be able to check their Kerala SSLC 10th Result 2020:

Step 3) Following this, the candidates would need to search for the ‘Kerala SSLC Result 2020 link’ at the home page of the official website

Step 4) Now the candidates would need to mention their registration number or the roll number and their date of birth

Step 5) After submitting the necessary details, click on submit

Step 6) Your Kerala SSLC Results 2020 will be displayed on the screen

Step 7) Check and verify your results

Step 8) Download your Kerala SSLC Results 2020 and take a printout for further reference   

Kerala SSLC 10th Result 2020 Passing Percentage

This year, the Kerala Board has registered a passing percentage of 98.82 per cent, which is highest in five years, said state Education Minister C Raveendranath. The Pathanmthitta district is the top performing district with 99.71 per cent passing percentage while Wayanad district has the lowest pass percentage of 95.04 per cent.

In 2019, the Kerala SSLC 10th examination was given by more than 4.34 lakh students across the state. The passing percentage that was recorded in 2019 was 98.11 per cent while it was 97.84 per cent in the year 2018. According to Kerala Board officials, more than 37,000 students had secured A+ grade in the examination. The board officials had further said that the top performing districts in the state was Malapuram which reported a passing percentage of 99.33 per cent while the worst performing district was Wayanad with a passing percentage of 93.22 per cent.

Last year, the Kerala SSLC class 10th exam was topped by Bhavana N Sivadas who scored 99.8 per cent marks.

What is the minimum percentage to pass the examination? 

Meanwhile, it is noteworthy to mention that a candidate would need to score 35 marks out of 100 in all subjects to pass the examination. In should be noted that for those subjects which had different papers for practical and theory, the candidates will have to pass both sections separately.

The Kerala Board has said that if a student fails to qualify the class 10th board exams, then he or she will have to appear for the supplementary exams that will be conducted by the board within a month.
