ICSE, ISC 10th, 12th Results 2020 DECLARED: 99.3% students clear 10th, 96.8% pass 12th board exams
New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Council of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education or CISCE on Friday declared the class 10th and class 12th board exams results 2020. The results were declared on the official website of ICSE board at cisce.org', and 'results.cisce.org.

A total of 99.33 per cent of students cleared the class 10th board exams this year, while 96.84 per cent of total students appeared cleared the class 12th board exams. The pass percentage of class 12th went by 2.02% over last year's 96.52 per cent, while the class 10th pass percentage went up by 0.79 per cent over previous year's 98.54 per cent.
However, the ICSE board has announced that the merit list for this year's examinations will not be declared due to exceptional circumstances. Students of both Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2020 will be given digitally signed copies of the mark sheets, pass and migration certificates by CISCE board.
Here are the Highlights from ICSE Class 10th and class 12th board results 2020:
4:10 pm: The class 12th exams were conducted in 51 written subjects of which 15 are Indian languages and 6 are foreign languages and 1 Classical language.
4:00 pm: The class 10th exams were conducted in 61 written subjects of which 22 are Indian languages and 9 are foreign languages and 2 classical languages.
3:50 pm: The pass percentage of ICSE (class 10th) went up by 0.79% over last year when 98.54% of students passed the exam. The pass percentage of ISC exams (class 12th) increased by 2.02% over last year’s 96.52%.
3:40 pm: Total number of candidates who appeared in ICSE exam: 2,07, 902 out of which 112,668 or 54.19% are boys and 95,234 or 45.81% are Girls. A total of 99.33% of students passed the class 10th exam
3:30 pm: This year 96.8% of students have passed the class 12th ISC exam. A total of 88,409 students had appeared for the ISC exam 2020. Of these, 85,611 students successfully cleared the papers.
3:25 pm: CICSE board not to publish merit list for class 10, 12 exams this year in view of exceptional circumstances: Secretary Gerry Arathoon.
3:20 pm: A total of 99.33% of students passed the ICSE, Class 10th exam. 2,06,525 students out of 2,07,902 have passed the exam.
3:16 pm: Check your scorecard by following these steps:
1. Log in to the official portal of Council-cisce.org
2. After reaching the homepage, click on the link “Results 2020”
3. Click on your course “ISC Results” from the two given options
4. After you open the result page, log in with your unique CISCE unique ID and index number
5. Carefully enter the CAPTCHA displayed on the screen and click submit
6. Your result will be displayed on the screen
7. Students are advised to download the result for further requirements
3:13 pm: Students of both Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2020 will be given digitally signed copies of the mark-sheets, pass certificates, and migration certificates by CISCE board.

2:45 pm: CISCE had to cancel six papers of ICSE or Class 10 and eight papers of ISC or Class 12 due to the coronavirus outbreak
2:30 pm: Last year, the overall passing percentage for ICSE 10th exam was 98.54, while 96.52 per cent students had cleared ISC 12th exam.
2:20 pm: This year, CISCE new assessment scheme would be applied for the evaluation of the remaining papers of CISCE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams.
2:10 pm: Students of both Class 10 and Class 12 can apply for re-evaluation of their exam papers. A fee of Rs 1,000 per exam will be applicable by the board through an online window which will remain open from July 10 to 16, 2020.
1:45 pm: Earlier in June, the ICSE board had informed the Supreme Court that results for class 10th and 12th board exams will be declared by mid-July.
1:30 pm: The students waiting for the results will be able to view their scorecard by visiting the Council's official website, 'cisce.org', and 'results.cisce.org'. The students can also receive their results on SMS. To get results on SMS, students would need to send their Unique id to 09248082883 in the following format: 'ICSE/ISC (Unique ID)'.
1:15 pm: The ICSE board also told Supreme Court that they will also give the option to both class 10th and class 12th students to appear for the exams later if it is conducted in future.
1:00 pm: The ICSE board in June announced that the pending exams for class 10th and class 12th have been cancelled in view of the situation due to coronavirus pandemic in the country.
Earlier last month, when the board informed the top court about the dates of result declaration, the board also told the SC that the board has gone through the assessment scheme of CBSE and said that their assessment scheme is more or less the same, but the averaging formula of ICSE board is different from that of CBSE, he told the top court. The ICSE board also said that they will be notifying their assessment formula to the students with a week.
