Dispur | Jagran Education Desk: The SEBA or Board of Secondary Education in Assam on Saturday declared the results for class 10th board exams at its official website -- sebaonline.org. The board was supposed to declare the results earlier this year but the evaluation process got delayed due to the coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown. The board finally completed the evaluation process by April 27. The exams were conducted from February 10 to February 29.   

The SEBA class 10th board exams were given by more than 3.4 lakh candidates. Out of the total number of students, 3,42,224 passed the exams and the total passing percentage was 64.80 per cent.

Here’s how candidates will be able to check their SEBA HSLC Result 2020:

Step 1) Visit the SEBA official website at sebaonline.org

Step 2) Click on the link that says “HSLC SEBA Result 2020”

Step 3) Enter your enrollment number and other details like date of birth. Click on submit them

Step 4) Your SEBA HSLC Result 2020 will appear on your screen

Step 5) Download your SEBA HSLC Result 2020 and take a printout for further reference     

Apart from this, the candidates can also check the results via SMS. For this, the candidates would need to send SEBA20<space>roll number to 57766.

Last year, the exams were given by over 3.4 candidates. The passing percentage last year was 60.23 per cent as 2,02,508 were able to pass the exam. According to board officials, the passing percent among boys was 62.69 per cent while it was 57.99 per cent among girls. The students at least need to score 30 per cent marks to pass the examination.

In 2019, Meghashree Borah had topped the exams. Borah has scored 99 per cent marks in SEBA class 10th exams. He was followed by Chinmoy Hazarika and Pratyashi Medhi who scored 98.83 per cent each.  

About AHSEC 12th Result 2020:

Meanwhile, AHSEC Exam or Assam Board class 12th exam will be declared by June 30. The class 12th board exams were conducted from February 12 to March 14 and more than 2.35 candidates had appeared for the exams that were conducted in over 770 exam centres.
