New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: Three months after conducting the exams, the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education on Tuesday (June 9) declared the result for class 10th board examination at its official website -- hpbose.org. The Himachal Pradesh Board had conducted the class 10th board examination from March 5 to March 19. The class 10th board examination 2020 was given by over 15 lakh candidates across the state.

Tanu from Kangra has passed with 98.71 per cent. She is followed by Kshitiz Sharma from Hamirpur and Vansh Gupta from Bilaspur who scored 98.57 per cent and 98.43 per cent respectively. Shagun Rana from Kangra and Anisha Sharma from Bilaspur have also scored 98.43 per cent each. Shreya Sharma from Bilaspur has scored 98.29 per cent. Ansh Bhardwaj from Kangra, Vanshika from Kangra, Karun Kumar from Chamba, Shagun Sharma from Bilaspur, Laila from Kullu and Nisha from Mandi have also scored 98.14 per cent each. Pariansh Mahajan from Kangra, Charvi Sapta from Shimla and Anmol from Kullu have scored 98.00 per cent each.

Step 1: Type hpbose.org on your webpage.

Step 2: Click on HP Board Class 10 Result 2020 link on the homepage.

Step 3: Submit your roll number and other details.

Step 4: Open the result is opened, download it and take a print out for future reference.

The results of secondary exams were supposed to be declared in May but due to coronavirus-induced lockdown, it was delayed. The evaluation of answer sheets were carried under strict guidelines of the Home Ministry and social distancing was maintained along with frequent hand washing.

The result of the Class 10 exam will help students decide their stream -- arts, science and commerce -- for HSC. You need to score at least 85 to 90 per cent to enroll themselves for the science stream in prestigious schools and colleges across the country.

The report by Jagranjosh claimed that there will be a grace marks in some subjects. As per notification, students will be provided grace marks in Sanskrit and Urdu papers. For more details, visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh Board. 

Meanwhile, HRD Ministry cancelled the class 10 exams nationwide expect clash-hit northeast Delhi.
