Gandhinagar | Jagran Education Desk: The Gujarat Secondary and High Secondary Education Board, also known as the 'GSEB', on Tuesday (June 9) declared the result for the class 10th board examination, ending the weight for lakhs of students. The result was announced by the board in the morning of June 9 at its official website -- gseb.org. The Gujarat Board has also released the official result booklet for the class 10th board exams that contains the statistics of the SSC exams, including passing percentage.

According to the Gujarat Board, 60.64 per cent students have cleared the GSEB SSC 2020 board exams. 7,92,942 students had appeared for the Gujarat class 10th board exams, out of which 4,80,845 students became eligible for the marksheets. The Gujarat Board has said that the passing percentage among girls is 66.02 per cent while that of boys is 56.53 boys per cent.  

 

Here's how you can check your Gujarat Board Class 10th Result 2020:

Step 1) The candidates would need to visit the official Gujarat Board website at gseb.org

Step 2) The candidates would now need to click on the link "SSC result 2020"

Step 3) Now the candidates would need to enter their enrollment number and other details

Step 4) Check and verify the result that will appear of the display of your screen

Step 5) Following this, now you are requested to download the result and take a printout for further reference 

The Gujarat Board was supposed to declare the result in May. However, it got delayed because of the coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown. Last year, the Gujarat Board had declared the class 10th result on May 21 while in 2018, the result was announced on May 18. Looking at the alarming spike in the number of coronavirus cases in the country, the Gujarat Board has also decided to promote the students from class 1 to 9 and of class 11th to the next standard.

Meanwhile, the Gujarat Board had also declared the HSC class 12th science result on May 17 and it will release the result for class 12th arts and commerce in the next week.
