CS Exams 2020: ICSI further postpones Company Secretaries exams to August, check revised time-table here
New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) on Saturday announced that the Company Secretaries (CS) Foundation, Executive, Professional programme and Post Membership Qualification (PMQ) exams have been further postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic prevailing in the country.
The exams were scheduled to be held between July 6 to July 16, 2020. The examinations for the Company Secretaries (CS) Foundation, Executive, Professional programme and Post Membership Qualification (PMQ) will now be conducted by the institute from August 18 to August 28, 2020.
“The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, after considering the prevalent situation due to Covid-19 pandemic, has decided to further postpone its June 2020 session examination of Foundation Programme, Executive Programme, and Post Membership Qualification (PMQ) scheduled to be held from July 6 to July 16, 2020. The examination of the above session will now be held from August 18 to August 28, 2020. The examination time table for the above is available on the institute’s website,” the notice by Institute of Company Secretaries of India reads.

Earlier after the ICSI postponed the exams to July, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) had demanded that the CA and CS exams should be cancelled in view of the coronavirus pandemic which has afflicted ovr 3 lakh people across the nation.
However, the ICSI had warned the miscreant students to refrain from spreading any rumours about the cancellation of the exams on social media. The ICSI also had informed the students’ body that strict action will taken against any of student found spreading misinformation.
The student body, National Students’ Union of India, NSUI has demanded the cancellation of ICAI CA and ICSI CS exams 2020 scheduled from July-end to mid-August. This demand has been made by the student body as the pandemic outbreak has caused the death toll to increase across the country.
