New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Chhattisgarh Board has finally declared the results for class 10th and class 12th, months after conducting the exams. The results were declared by state Education Minister Prem Sai Singh at 11 am. The candidates can check their results at and, the Chhattisgarh Board had said in a statement earlier.    

The results of the CGBSE class 10th and class 12th board exams, which were given by 3.54 lakh and 2.75 lakh candidates respectively, were declared by the Chhattisgarh Education Minister Prem Sai Singh through a video conferencing. "The result will be announced today at 11 am. State Education Minister Prem Sai Singh will release the result through webinar maintaining the COVID-19 norms," Chhattisgarh Board Secretary VK Goel had said in a statement earlier.

In a shocking decision, the Chhattisgarh Board did not give extra answer sheets to the candidates, saying it was done to encourage the candidates to write short answers. The board had given a 32-page and 42-page answer sheet to class 10th and class 12th students.

How can I check my CGBSE class 10th and 12th results?

Step 1) The candidates would need to go to the official website of the Chhattisgarh Board at

Step 2) Following this, check for the link that says ‘Class 10th’ or ‘Class 12th’ results

Step 3) Now the candidates would need to enter their details like enrollment number and other details

Step 4) Your result will appear at the display of your screen. Check and verify the results

Step 5) After this, the candidates are requested to download their class 10th and class 12th board exam results

Step 6) The candidates are also advised to take a printout for further reference

Is there any other way to check the Chhattisgarh Board class 10th and 12th exam results?

The results will be declared by the board at around 11 am on Tuesday (June 23). However, if you don't have an internet connection, then you can check your results via SMS services. For this, you would need to send an SMS to 56263. The class 10th students would need to send CG10(Roll Number) to check their results while class 12th would need to send to CG12(Roll Number) to check their results.

The Chhattisgarh Board was supposed to declare the results for class 10th and class 12th board exams earlier but it was postponed after the central government imposed a lockdown to control the spread of the highly infectious coronavirus in the country.

CGBSE Class 10th, 12th Result 2020 Toppers List:

The overall passing percentage for class 10th students this year is 73.62 per cent while that of class 12th students was 78.59 per cent. In 2019, the topper of the CGBSE class 10th board examination was Nisha Patel who scored 99.33 per cent mark. On the other hand, Yogendra Verma -- who scored 97.40 per cent marks -- had topped the CGBSE class 12th board examination. In 2019, the overall passing percentage for class 10th board exam students was 68 per cent while that of the candidates of class 12th was 78.45 per cent.
