As per revised syllabus for all the subjects, CBSE is yet to release any information regarding the same. The HRD Ministry and Board have confirmed that the current syllabus would be trimmed to accommodate the loss of time period due to lockdown imposed in the wake of COVID-19 cases. Though online classes have began in several schools across the country, the CBSE has taken cognisance of the fact that the current syllabus needs to be trimmed.
According to Times Now, senior board officials have confirmed that CBSE and NCERT are working together to cut short the syllabus for classes 10, 12. The schools have been granted permission to reduce the syllabus for classes 1 to 8. For classes 10, 12, only particular topics or parts would be trimmed and not complete chapters.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of HRD has released dates for the pending exams for classes 10 and 12. The examinations will be conducted from July 1 to July 15. While Class 12 exams will be held nationwide, class 10 exams will be only held for students in the clash-hit northeast Delhi as exams have been cancelled nationwide.
