New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) on Monday announced the complete date sheet of Class 12 board examination that were pending due to lockdown imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19. The exams will now be held from July 1 to July 15. 

The CBSE will conduct Class 12 exams for business studies, geography, home science, sociology, computer science (old), information practice (new), Hindi (Core), Hindi (elective), computer science (new), information practice (old), information technology and biotechnology.

Here’s the full datesheet for class 12th board exams 2020: 

July 1: Home Science (All India)

July 2: Hindi Elective (All India)

July 2: Hindi Core (All India)

July 3: Physics (North East Delhi)

July 4: Accountancy (North East Delhi)

July 6: Chemistry (North East Delhi)

July 7: Informatics Prac. (New), Computer Science (new), Informatics Prac. (Old), Computer Science (New), Information Tech [All India]

July 8: English Elective-N (North East Delhi)

July 8: English Elective-C (North East Delhi)

July 8: English Core (North East Delhi)

July 9: Business Studies (All India)

July 10: Biotechnology (All India)

July 11: Geography (All India)

July 13: Sociology (All India)

July 14: Political Science (North East Delhi)

July 15: Mathematics, Economics, History, Biology (North East Delhi)

The board exam datesheet was supposed to be released on May 16 but it was delayed. On Saturday, the Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had said that CBSE will release the schedule on May 18.

In a tweet post, he said, "CBSE is taking into consideration some additional technical aspects before finalizing the datesheets of the board exams of classes 10th and 12th, due to which, the datesheets will now be released by Monday i.e. 18-05-2020. Inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted."

A few days ago, the HRD Minister Ramesh Pakhriyal had also shared the dates of the entrance exams NEET (National Entrance Eligibility Test) and JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main and Advanced dates. While the NEET exam will be held on July 26, JEE Main and Advanced exams will be conducted from July 18-23 and August 23 respectively. 

The schools and colleges across the country have been closed since March after the announcement of nationwide lockdown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

The answer sheets for which exams have been already completed are being sent to teachers at their homes to protect them from COVID-19. 

The result for class 12 board exam is likely to be announced during August before the declaration of the entrance test result by the Indian Institute of Technology. For more details, visit the official website of CBSE-- cbse.nic.in
