CBSE Board Exams 2020: Class 10, 12 board exams to be conducted from July 1 to 15, says HRD Minister
New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: Human Resource and Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' on Friday announced that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the board exams for class 10 and 12 from July 1 to 15 while adding that the board will announce a detailed schedule of the exams later in the evening.
"The students have been impatiently waiting for the schedule for pending exams. It has been decided today that the exams will be conducted from July 1 to 15," he said.
Earlier on Tuesday, 'Nishank' had said that the decision on the CBSE board exams will be taken in a day or two, as reported by Times Now. The date sheet will be released on the official website of CBSE -- cbse.nic.in. The students need to keep a check on the websites to keep a check on dates and timings.
As per the CBSE, examination of 29 papers are to be conducted. The new dates are likely to be announced after the restrictions are completely lifted, which is likely to take place after the ongoing third phase of lockdown (May 4-17). But it may also require more time as containment zones will continue to be sealed.

According to experts from Times Now, at first competitive exams will be held after which the board exams will be held in July.
The papers will be set along with the remaining main paper exams for students of Northeast Delhi. All the students are likely to get a 10 days window to prepare for the remaining papers.
The HRD Minister on Monday announced fresh dates for Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main, Advanced and National Entrance Eligibility Test, or NEET 2020 exams. While the JEE Main exams will be conducted between July 18-23, NEET exams will be held on July 26. JEE Advanced dates would be released in August, the Union Minister said during his live interaction with students on Twitter/ Facebook.
