New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: CBSE Board 12th Arts Result 2020 Announced: The CBSE or the Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the much-awaited CBSE results on the official website of CBSE on Monday afternoon. Along with Class 12th Arts results, Class 12th Science and Commerce results have also been declared on Monday.

With the pass percentage of 92.15, girls have outshined boys who managed the pass percentage of 86.19 percent. The overall pass percentage of CBSE class 12th is 88.78 percent.

This year, The overall pass percentage of CBSE class 12 results is recorded as 88.78 percent. According to the CBSE, the highest passing percentage has been reported in Trivandrum for Class 12th results which has been reported 97.67 percent.

After a long wait, The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the Class 12th Board examination Arts stream results on its official website at cbse.nic.in. The candidates will also be able to check their results at results.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in.

Union Human Resource and Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank broke the news by making the announcement, and wishing the students good luck.

"Dear Students, Parents and Teachers! CBSE has announced the results of Class XII and can be accessed at cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate, Student's health and quality education are our priority," he tweeted. Check pass percentage here:

The CBSE, however, has also announced that it will not release the merit list for class 12th board exams in view of exceptional circumstances amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Here is how candidates can check CBSE Board 12th Arts Result 2020:

Step 1: The candidates would need to visit the official CBSE website at cbse.nic.in. 

Step 2: Look for a link which says"CBSE Class 12th Board Results”

Step 3: Click on the link and the candidates need to enter their registration number, roll number, date of birth.

Step 4: Once the candidate enters the details, the result will appear on the website.

Step5: Candidates are required to download their marksheets and certificates via the DigiLocker app which is available both for Android and iOS users. and take a printout for future reference.

Apart from visiting the official CBSE website, the candidates will also be able to check their results via UMANG app which is available for android, iOS, and Windows-based Smartphones.

The much-awaited CBSE results were declared after the Board had informed the Supreme Court in the month of June that it will declare the results by mid-July.
