New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: After a months-long wait, the Central Board of Secondary Education on Monday announced CBSE board class 12th results 2020 on its official website. With the pass percentage of 92.15, girls have outshined boys who managed the pass percentage of 86.19 percent. The overall pass percentage of CBSE class 12th is 88.78 percent.

According to the CBSE, the highest passing percentage has been reported in Trivandrum at 97.67 percent for Class 12th results. 

Union Human Resource and Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank broke the news by making the announcement, and wishing the students good luck.  “Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers! CBSE has announced the results of Class XII and can be accessed at We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate student’s health & quality education are our priority,” the minister tweeted.


Following the announcement of the CBSE board class 12th results, netizens couldn’t hold back their reactions and flooded Twitter with funny memes. Soon after the students got their results, a variety of memes began circulating on social media.

Soon after the news of the declaration of results came in, many students reported difficulty in checking the results online. Candidates also complained  that the websites are down and even the Umang app is not functioning.
