New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: The result of Class 10 exam by Board of School Education of HBSE is likely to released on the official website in the third week of May, as per media reports. Students who had appeared in the exams are advised to visit-- to check their scorecard. All you need to do is submit your details such as roll number, registration number, etc. and the result will flash on your screens.

The result was expected to be released in March but delayed due to lockdown imposed to contain the spread of coronavirus. As per media reports, the evaluation of Class 10 answer sheets began early on May 2.

Once the results are declared, check your name, parents name, roll number, and other details. Contact school authorities in case of error or mistake. The original marksheet will be provided a few weeks after the result is declared by the Haryana Board.

In order to pass the HBSE Board exam, you need to score at least 33 per cent in both theory and practical papers. 1 per cent grace marks can also be awarded to the students if a student fails in a particular subject. In 2019, the pass percentage among students stood at 57.39 per cent.

For students who fail to achieve the minimum marks required to pass the Haryana board exam can apply for supplementary exams once the form is available post result declaration. On the flip side, students who wish to improve their HBSE scorecard can apply for re-evaluation. It will done by an independent examiner

The results will help students decide which stream -- arts, commerce and science-- they want to opt for the higher class. Candidates must collect their original marksheet and migration certificate if they wish to enroll in any other institution for Higher secondary.
