New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The much-awaited class 10 result of Bihar Board was finally declared on Tuesday. The official announcement was made by the state Education Minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Varma. On this occasion, BSEB chairman Anand Kishor was also present. The results were pending for over two months due to delay in evaluation of answer sheets amid lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus. 

The students who had appeared in the secondary examination 2020 are advised to visit the official website--, Besides this, there are also third-party websites where you can check the scorecard-- and

The BSEB result will include your name, roll number, father's name, mother's name, subject wise marks, grade or CGPA. If you find any error or mistake, contact the school authorities.  

Here's how to check your BSEB Class 10 Result: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of Bihar Board--

Step 2: Click on Class 10 Result on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your credentials and click on submit.

Step 4: The results will flash on your screen.

Step 5: Download the result and take a print out for future reference.

At least 12,04,30 students have cleared the examination out 15.29 lakh. The pass percentage stood at 80.59 per cent. Over 4 lakh students achieved 1st division, 2.57 lakh were second. At least 1.17 lakh students passed with third division. 

The result will help students to opt for streams-- arts, commerce or science-- which are suitable for them in the Higher Secondary. The admissions are likely to take place in August and the academic session will begin in Septemeber, according to the Union HRD Minister. 

The results for Class 12 arts, commerce, and science stream have been already declared by the board in March. A total of 80.44 per cent of students had passed the higher secondary exam.
