New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: The result for Bihar Board Class 10 exams has been declared. Candidates, who had appeared in the exam, can visit the official website to check the scorecard. Al your need to do is visit the official website onlinebseb.in to check the results. Enter your credentials available on your admit card to immediately check the result. The website may slow down due to heavy traffic. Out of 15,29,393 students, a total of 4,03,392 have achieved first division, while 2,57,807 have passed with the second division. 1,17,116 have achieved third division. With 12,03,030 students clearing the exams, the pass percentage stood at 80.59 per cent. Himanshu Raj has topped the exam with 481 marks. 

The Bihar Board was earlier supposed to announce the results on Monday, but due to last-minute arrangements, declaration was rescheduled. Over 15 lakh students had appeared for the secondary exam this year, who are awaiting results to be declared by the board.

May 26:

12:24 pm: The results will be announced shortly at biharboardonline.com and onlinebseb.in

12:13 pm: BSEB will also upload the list of toppers along with the results. The list can also be checked at Jagran English.

11:58 am: Students can also check the result via SMS: Type-- BSEB10-space-ROLL NUMBER — to 56263.

11:49 am: Students who will not be satisfied with their results can apply online for re-evaluation or re-check. The last date to apply is June 3 and fee per paper will be charged Rs 70.

11:30 am: Unlike previous years where the results were announced after a press conference, this year the results will be released via a press release amid coronavirus pandemic. 

10:37 am: The BSEB will declare the result today at 12.30 pm.

May 23 Highlights

6:30 pm: The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) is likely to announce the results of class 10 board exams soon. 

5:45 pm: According to an update by NDTV, it is likely that the declaration of the results will be delayed further. However, no official confirmation has been received about the date and time of result announcement.  

5:30 pm: BSEB has implemented a 50% objective and 50% subjective question formula since 2018 which has resulted in improving the pass percentage

5:15 pm: The Bihar Board will also announce the matric toppers list along with the result. A total of 15,29,393 students had appeared for the Bihar class 10 examination this year.

5:00 pm: According to unofficial sources, the Bihar School Education Board is expected to declare the class 10 results by 6 pm today.

4:50 pm: The BSEB will announce the class 10 results for 2020 board examinations anytime soon. Students are advised to keep their credentials -- roll numbers, admit cards, registration numbers -- ready to check the results.

4:35 pm: Ahead of the announcement of the BSEB class 10 results, the official website of BSEB biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in is not responding. This happens when too many people are trying to reach the website at the same time

4:20 pm: The Bihar Board Class 10 examination 2020 was conducted from February 17 to 24. The evaluation process, which suffered a delay due to the coronavirus lockdown, began on May 6 and concluded last week.

4:10 pm: According to report by NDTV, the Bihar Board will be giving the opportunity to the students for the scrutinisation process once the results were declared in the evening. 

4:00 pm: The Bihar Board had announced the class 12 results in the evening in March, so, it is expected that the class 10 results will also be announced in the evening between 5 to 7 pm.

3:00 pm: This year the BSEB will not conduct a press briefing, instead they will release a press release. In the release, details like toppers, pass percentage average, total number of students, scrutiny, and supplement schedule will be provided. 

2:40 pm: In 2019 results of class 10th exams, 6,36,046 girls were passed, while 6,83,990 boys passed the matric exams. However, no girl made it to the top 10 list.  

2:20 pm: The BSEB has started the scrutinisation process of class 12th intermediate examination Students who have appeareed for the exams and are not satisfied with their results can apply for the rechecking of their answersheets. 

1:52 pm: Many students, who topped the Bihar Board in 2016 and 2017, didn't know answers of simple questions and called political science as "prodigal science".  

1:39 pm: 2016 and 2017 were years of controversy for the Bihar Board. The topper scam came to light in these two years.

1:20 pm: According to Navbharat Times, the results will be uploaded by BSEB on biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in between 5 pm to 7 pm

12:30 pm: Last year total 13,20,036 students appeared for the class 10 board exams, of which 2,90,666 students passed with first division, while 5,56,131 passed with second division and 4,54,450 students passed with third division marks. 

12:00 pm: Follow these steps to check the results:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Bihar Board at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the 'Results' tab available on the home page

Step 3: Select Class X Matriculation results

Step 4: Select your stream and click on 'Result'

Step 5: On the new page, log-in using your credentials

Step 6: Fill out the captcha text

Step 7: Your BSEB Class 10 Result 2020 will appear online

Step 8: Download the results and take a print out for future references

11:30 am: The students can check toppers pass percentage on the official website of BSEB at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in

11:00 am: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the results for class 10 board exams got delayed by over two months. According to Navbharat Times, the BSEB started scrutiny of the remaining 25 per cent copies on May 6.
