New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: Bihar School Secondary Examination (BSEB) on Tuesday finally declared the result of Class 10 that were pending for over two months. Candidates who had appeared in the exam may check their results by visiting official website of BSEB--, to check their subject wise marks. There is also an alternative option to check the result via text message: Type-- BSEB10-space-ROLL NUMBER — send it to '56263'.

More than 14.94 lakh students had appeared in Class 10 exams held in February. A total of 12.04 lakh students managed to clear the examination. The overall pass percentage stood at 80.59%. 

Meanwhile, 2,89,692 failed to clear the examination. They are likely to appear in supplementary exams.

A total of 4.03,392 students achieved first division, followed by 2,57,807 (second division) and 1,17,116 (third division). Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply online for recheck or re-evaluation. Rs 70 will be charged for each paper. 

The examination was conducted from February 17 to 24. The result was delayed for more than two months due to a delay in answer sheet evaluation due to coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier the Bihar Board had declared the results of HSC or 10+2 on March 24 for all three streams. With the results of both Class 10 and 12 declared, BSEB is the first board in the country to announce the result.
