New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Bihar School Examination Board will begin the evaluation process of class 10 answer sheets from May 6, said a report published in The Indian Express. The information was announced by chairman of BSEB Anand Kishore. Evaluators will be adhering to social distancing norms to minimise the risk of COVID-19 infections, the BSEB chief said according to media reports. The evaluation process was earlier suspended due to the nationwide lockdown to combat the spread of COVID-19.

The report claimed that 75 per cent of the class 10 board results have been already completed and the results are expected to be released within three to four days after the completion of evaluation process. The evaluation process was earlier stopped till May 3 India had extended the deadline till May 3.

As per previous reports, the declaration of BSEB class 10 board exam result was delayed as the board had stopped evaluation process after lockdown extension till May 17.

Nearly 15.29 lakh students, including over 7 lakh girls, had appeared for the class 10 exams that was held between February 17 and February 24.

The Bihar board had earlier declared the Class 12 board exam results in March for all streams: Arts, Science, and Commerce after which the candidates of class 10 are waiting for their results. 

The result for class 10 Bihar Board would be available online on websites such as bihar.gov.in, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, bsebresult.online, bsebonline.org, and biharboard.online.

All you need to do is enter your roll code and roll number and the results will quickly flash on the screens. In order to pass the exam, students need to obtain 40 per cent marks in theory and 30 per cent marks in practical.

Last year the pass percentage stood at 80.73 per cent, with 13.2 lakh students clearing the matriculation exams.
