Assam HS Results 2020 DECLARED: Assam Board releases class 12th scorecard at ahsec.nic.in, here’s how to check
New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Thursday declared the results for class 12th board examinations. The students waiting for the results can check their results at the official website of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council at ahsec.nic.in and on resultsassam.nic.in.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country, schools in Assam have been advised not to display the results on noticeboards in order to prevent the students from gathering on the school premises.
Here’s how to check your results:
- Log on to the official website of AHSEC at ahsec.nic.in
- Click on the 'HS/Class 12 Results' link
- Enter your credentials such as roll number and other required details
- Click on submit
- Your Assam Board 12th Result 2020 will be displayed on the screen
- Download the Assam Board HS Result 2020 or take a print out for future use
The students who are facing trouble in accessing their Assam HS Results 2020 on the internet, they can also get their results on mobile phones via SMS. For this, students have to send ‘ASSAM12’ to 56263.

According to the data released by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), a total of 2.3 lakh students have appeared for the class 12th board examinations. The board has also released the pass percentage for different streams. In the Arts stream, a total of 78.28 per cent of children cleared the exams. In the Science stream, the overall pass percentage is 88.06 per cent, while in Commerce, the overall pass percentage is 88.18 per cent.
The Assam class 12th board examinations were conducted from February 12 to March 14 this year at around 772 exam centres across the state. The results were scheduled to be released in April this year, however, the Assam HS results 2020 got delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country and the lockdown imposed to curb the spread.
