New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The registration process for AP EAMCET 2020 will be closed by the JNTU Kakinada on May 7 (Thursday), said a report published on Times Now. Candidates who have not applied for the examination can apply online by visiting the official website at As per reports, new schedule is expected as early as next week.

No extra fees will be charged if you pay the amount till May 7. After this date, you will be charged a late fee of Rs 500. Here are steps to apply online:

Step 1: Visit the official website of AP EAMCET at

Step 2: Click on AP EAMCET 2020 link on the homepage.

Step 3: Signup for registration number and password

Step 4: You will be redirected to a new page, follow the steps of fee payment.

Step 5: Enter the details like name, parent's name, qualification, etc.

Step 6: Keep a hard copy of acknowlegement for future reference .

Note: The candidates have to pay Rs 500 each as application fees for engineer and agriculture stream. Late fee payment could rise up to 10,000 if required.

The new schedule for AP EAMCET will also be released soon. The revised dates would be available on the official website. 

Candidates who have passed the higher secondary exams from a recognised school/ college with chemistry, physics and mathematics as main subjects are eligible to apply for the examination. Candidates who have passed diploma in engineering conducted by technical education may also apply.

As per reports, the exam dates have been postponed in view of the current situation of the country. As per official schedule, the exam was scheduled to be held between April 20 to 23.

The computer-based exam will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The exam is likely to be held in the third or last week of May, as per media reports. The revised date of the exam can be checked on the official website (if available).

In order to receive the latest updates, you can download mobile app APSCGE myCET available in Google Play Store. It also contains all related information including submitted application status, mock test and hall ticket.

The exam will be conducted to shortlist students for admissions to B.Tech. B.E., B.Sc., B.F.Sc., B.V.Sc. and A.H., B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D. courses.

All the candidates must ensure they come with protective gear like masks.
