Manchester | Jagran Sports Desk: Arch-rivals India and Pakistan will meet for the seventh time in a World Cup on Sunday at the Old Trafford in Manchester.

While India has a 6-0 record against their arch-rivals in World Cups, Pakistan will look to use their unpredictable status to repeat the heroics of their 2017 Champions Trophy final win.

Like always the fans from both the countries are super excited for the clash between the two sides and they would hope the weather to remain good throughout the match.

So far in the World Cup 2019, three matches have been washed out without a ball being bowled while another one between South Africa and West Indies lasted for just 7.3 overs before rain intervened.

The forecasts for Manchester on June 16 are already predicting cloudy weather with spotty showers.

Here is the weather forecast for June 16:

Pitch report:

Traditionally, the Old Trafford pitch supports the team which bats second. Out of 45 ODIs at the Old Trafford in Manchester, only 18 went in favour of the team batting first. The weather forecast is also not looking good, thus the team that wins the toss should opt to field first as the ‘Duckworth Lewis’ method generally favours the team batting second.
