New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: It is no secret that Indian skipper Virat Kohli highly admires MS Dhoni. On Thursday he shared a throwback picture of India's famous win over Australia in the 2016 World T20, in which he can be seen with then captain MS Dhoni.

The picture showed him on his knees, as he celebrated after Dhoni hit the winning runs in the group game against Australia.

“A game I can never forget. Special night. This man, made me run like in a fitness test,” said Kohli in the caption.

However, Kohli’s tweet sparked speculations that the veteran wicket-keeper might soon announce his retirement.

Many took to Twitter and began speculating that the Dhoni might soon announce his retirement.

Dhoni had retired from Tests in 2014 and had stepped down as India's limited-overs captain in early 2017. He last featured for India in the semi-final game against New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup which India lost.
