Rohit becomes second Indian after Virat to hit World Cup hundred against Pakistan
Manchester | Jagran Sports Desk: Rohit Sharma continued his dream run in the World Cup 2019 and scored his 24th ODI century against Pakistan at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday.
With this, Rohit is the second Indian after Virat Kohli to score a century against Pakistan in a World Cup.
Overall, Rohit has three hundred in World Cups.
Rohit has looked wonderful in the World Cup so far. He has scored 298 runs in the World Cup 2019 with two centuries and a fifty. He scored his first century in the 2019 World Cup against South Africa. His unbeaten 122 runs helped India chase 228 easily. Against Australia, he scored 57 off 70 balls and gave India a solid stand with Shikhar Dhawan.
Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gave India a solid stand against Pakistan in Manchester. The duo scored 137 runs together in just 23 overs.
