New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan has been receiving a lot of backlash from the cricketing fraternity after his speech at the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York last month. Recently, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly slammed the Pak PM’s speech and called it rubbish.

After Ganguly, former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif on Sunday also slammed the Pakistan Prime Minister for his speech and hate towards the Indian government’s decision to revoke Article 370 from Kashmir at the UNGA in New York. Kaif lashing out at him said that he was a great player but now he has become a puppet of terrorists and Pakistan Army.

Taking to Twitter, Mohammad Kaif shared an article from an Indian newspaper and alongside the article wrote, “Yes, but your country Pakistan certainly has a lot to do with terrorism, a safe breeding ground for terrorists. What an unfortunate speech at the UN and what a fall from grace from being a great cricketer to a puppet of Pakistan army and terrorists.”

Earlier, last week, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly lashes out on Imran Khan for his speech and called it rubbish. Ganguly in his tweet said that Imran Khan was earlier considered as a role model but now he is not the same person anymore what the cricket knew.

Many other cricketers, including Mohammad Shami, Harbhajan Singh, and Irfan Pathan had slammed Imran Khan for his speech.

In the recently concluded 74th session of UNGA, PM Modi talked about how India developed under his government, and how India can become a world leader in saving the environment and help the climate to stop. He also focused on countering terrorism from across the world and said: “the world should stand united against terrorism”. Whereas Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan only talked about Kashmir and alleges human rights violations in the Valley. He also threatened to start a nuclear war against India.
